Chinese New Year – You would simply love it
« on: February 01, 2012, 06:50:48 PM »
Perhaps the most captivating festival in Singapore, Chinese New Year has a charismatic lure. The festivity lasts for 15 days, and the Chinese community turns colorful during this time. Red paper decorations and loud firecrackers take place with aim to scare away the Nian- a feast prey on humans. Various programs including music and dances are publically performed by Chinese performers. I am sure, you would simply say ‘wow’ getting through this wonderful fest. If you want to make maximum out of your tour to Singapore [nofollow] then try to visit Singapore during this festive season.

I think most Asian countries do celebrate the Chinese New Year in grandiose way especially if they have a large number of Chinese nationals or immigrants. I read there are also a lot of Chinese at Malaysia and Thailand.
