Skiing, snowboarding, avoiding the Christmas rush, taking a break from the summer stress, or just getting away from the hustle and
bustle of the holiday season - whatever your reasons may be for wanting to go to the Alps and check into one of its chalets, La Tania
should be one of the first places you consider.
Classic, Not Trendy
Located within the famed Three Valleys skiing area, which includes the Courchevel, Meribel and Val Thorens valleys, it's a favourite
resort town for those looking for a quiet, low-key area that isn't overrun with hipster fashionistas running up the prices for the regular
holiday-makers. After all, you don't necessarily need to be on a tight budget to want true value for your money, so when it comes to
full-service or self-catered chalets, La Tania is a great choice for students on a break, sports enthusiasts or families on holiday.
You certainly won't be bored if you're a skier or snowboarder, however, this does not necessarily mean there is absolutely nothing
else to do outside the ski chalets- La Tania offers some clubs, bars, restaurants, shopping areas and other forms of entertainment.
Even better, it offers easy access to the so-called "smarter set" resort of Courchevel1850, or the bustling and bopping Meribel, where
there are many clubbing and partying activities and events to be had!
Skiing and Snowboarding
These snow sports are, of course, still the best reasons to choose the resort town's chalets. La Tania has its own 150 kilometres of
pisted runs, accessible through 67 ski lifts that are able to transport around 70,000 passengers per hour. If that's not enough, there is
still access to a total of 600 kilometres of downhill runs, 497 individual pistes, and 200 ski lifts from around the different resorts in the
Three Valleys: Courchevel, Meribel, Val Thorens, Saint Martin de Belleville, and Les Menuires. For those who prefer higher altitudes
and more snow, nearby Val Thorens is very easy to get to from La Tania.
Summer Holidays
Snow sports aren't the only reason to go up to this resort village and rent one of their great chalets. La Tania, believe it or not, is also
a great place to take the family for a summer holiday. With great nanny services and childcare, bars, restaurants and even a couple of
cinemas, La Tania is getting quite a reputation for being a top family resort. Outdoor activities such as biking, hiking and more can be
arranged- making for an exciting holiday.
Choices, Choices, Choices
Though this unassuming resort village is known as a value-laden bargain for those who want an Alpine holiday, there are plenty of
choices when it comes to accommodation to fit various tastes and budgets. Lodging choices, for instance, range from budget
apartelles and economic self-catered apartments to luxury chalets. La Tania definitely has something for everyone!
