Sydney have a 235m height limit. Brisbane and the Gold Coast are most likely to build a scraper taller than Eureka, but Melbourne could too as a couple of sites on Spencer Street have no height limit and are rumoured to be future hosts of a supertall or two in the not too distant future.

 2. Brisbane (refer Fabians pics on page 2)
 3. Gold Coast

Melbourne has about it's skyline, is balance, and proportionality:

Consider these two buildings.  They are tall, but certainly not the tallest here.

Melbourne doesn't have a Harbour, on par with Sydney, but you can find reflections ...

What Melbourne has is a generous street layout- thanks to Hoddle-  and the foresight of sundry  unrecognized urban planners who determined that those towers were going to be set back from the street.

Sydney wins this one. but Melbourne is a wonderful city, in both skyline and on the ground. Next comes Brisbane, Gold Coast, Auckland, Perth...
