hi, we, family of 3 adults, will be staying in the above area in early Dec. for about 6 nights. We like snorkeling, perhaps a scuba dive and kayaking. Which town would have the better to snorkel from motels/apts? I prefer to have snorkeling and kayaking a short walk at most from our apt. and do not mind driving somewhere to meet up with a scuba trip. I think we will also take a day trip to Turquoise Bay as I read this place has great drift snorkeling. Comments anyone. Thanks

Coral Bay offers many activities such as glass bottom boats, diving tours, manta rays tours, whale watching tours, whale shark tours, scenic flights, quad bike tours and much more. Its a one street town and with that comes all the charm of a small remote community, on a glorious beach, in the best state in Australia. It is one of the famous tourist destination.

The emphasize is a chance to swim with the world's biggest fish, the whale shark, which visits between April and June each year to feed. You can even take to the skies on a scenic flight to see how these natural wonders look from the heavens.
