The square in old town Stockholm

Stockholm's old town is charming - every corner is so interesting - squares, statues, narrow streets. Especially I liked architecture of old town, because it is very different from Vilnius old town. Statues seem to be very realistic.

I must say that I was really disapointed with Stockholm. I found it just a bit soulless. Gamla Stan was quite cool, and for sure the narrow little streets leading down to the harbour were very charming, but personally I much prefered Göteborg and Malmö to Stockholm. Just my opinion though!;)

Sweden's capital is one of the mainly gorgeous major cities in the world, a mirage of saffron- and terracotta-colored buildings sparkling between blue water and bluer skies all summer, or covered with snow and dotted with lights in winter. It's also a vivacious, modern city, famous for producing sleek designs, edgy fashion and world-class nightclubs.
