I am new to this forum and need your help in my adventure trip. Well, I am planning to trek the Inca trail to Machu Picchu. I don't want to do it with a company because I have limited budget and I want to trek at my own pace. Can anyone out there give me some advice and tips on what I need to have and obtain in order to trek the Inca trail independently? All your inputs are will be greatly appreciated.
