Nepal
is a country of the Mt. Everest and the birth place of Buddha (Lumbini). It's terrain raises from as low as 70m to 8,848m (Mt. Everest) creating diversity of landscape, flora, fauna and culture. The lower tropical planes shelters endangered species like Royal Bengal Tiger, rhino, wild elephant, gaur (Bos gaurus), striped hyena, sloth bear and Gangetic dolphin. Middle hills offer ground for trekkers from all around the world. The whole northern belt is Himalayas of about 800 km comprising 8 out of the 10 highest mountains in the world.
Things to Do in Nepal
Kathmandu Tour :
The 218 sq miles of Kathmandu valley is booming with over 130 important monuments with 7 of them recognized as World heritage Sites by UNESCO. The valley comprises three historical cities with several villages surrounded by verdant hills renowned for the magnificent view of the Himalaya.

Pokhara is renowned as the 'natural capital' of Nepal for its astounding setting of beautiful lakes with lush hills offering panoramic view of the Himalaya. With the backdrop of three 8,000 m mountains, Pokhara provides the ground for various adventure activities such as trekking, mountaineering, rafting and paragliding.
Chitwan National Park
Chitwan National park park hosts 570 species of flowering plants, 40 species of mammals, 486 species of birds, 17 reptiles and 68 fish species. Because of the occurrence of many endangered plant species such as the tree fern, screw pine and several rare orchids and endangered mammals such as tiger, rhino, wild elephant, gaur (Bos gaurus), striped hyena, sloth bear and Gangetic dolphin, it is decleared a World Heritage Site in 1983.
Rafting
Nepal is paradise for White Water Rafters as there are continuously flowing high current rivers as a gift of the benevolent Himalayas. As rivers flow from the roof of the world, into the tectonic plate of Indian Subcontinent, exciting whitewaters are formed.
Trekking
Nepal is famous for trekking. Treks could be from 2 days to a month long and easy to strenuous. Most of the trekkers walk for several days from village to village staying local teahouses. These teahouses are run by local family and caters hygienic food of international taste. Clean rooms and hot showers are also available. Annapurna, Everest and Langtang are famous for teahouse treks. Everest Sightseeing Flight

The monk temples are also a good thing to include on your lists when you're off to Nepal. :)
