Samarqand - Panjakent border closed?
Hi folks,I am currently planning the details of my summer trek in the Fan Mountains, and as I was checking some local transportation possibilities around, one tajik travel agency e-mailed me that the Samarqand - Panjakent border was closed. I've checked this information with my country's embassy in Uzbekistan and they replied that everything was OK and that there was no border closure.I would be very grateful If somebody could confirm me one or another information, because if the border is closed I will have to adjust my ittinerary accordingly,Thanks
