Suggestion :- Do I Really Need Travel Insurance?

Hello friends.

 I am planning to go on holiday day trip for for 10 days in Mauritius . I am thinking that i really need travel insurance. In my last trip I did buy travel insurance but just recently read in some magazine that it's not necessary. Is this true?

Travel insurance is incredibly important. It can save you a lot of worry and money. For example, medical attention may not be what you would expect in country you go and in an emergency, travel insurance can assist in obtaining proper care. I think it's the same with other types of insurance that are availed by some if they want to be insured on something they think might be risky to do. Usually, airlines already provide it in their travel packages especially if you availed it directly through the airline.

I think yes, it is better to buy travel insurance than to pay thousands times more if anything happens. I agree with RyanD on this point. I talked to the people who told me very unpleasant situations they had because they hadn't bought policies. The more I listened to them, the more I got assurance that I would better not go on a trip at all than go there without an insurance policy. Because I'd like to have fun travelling, not problems...
by the way, as RyanD I also bought Globelink policy several times. They have pretty nice serivice and reasonable prices.
