Next year I am taking a gap year and have been looking into volunteering outside of Europe. I need travel and medical insurance but I am unsure of the difference between the two types of insurance. Also, are there any good sites that I can get good deals off? Thankyou

Travel Insurance is for persons who are traveling for short periods of time and medical insurance covers  unforeseen expenses because of health issues.

I do agree with you dear.. i think Travel Insurance is designed for persons who are traveling for short periods of time, less than one year. Travel Plans are not comprehensive, they are referred to as "emergency" health coverage.
