Kauai in Winter?
« on: December 09, 2010, 12:26:42 PM »
Hey Guys,

I'm so sick of this cold weather so I thought why not go somewhere warm for the Holiday! I've been to Kauai once before and loved the Island, but this time I would like to stay on the North Shore, preferably in a rental. Anyone have any suggestions on a good rental company?

I don't exactly get your point but I suppose you would like to visit in Northern part of US.
As per my suggestions you may visit :  Bridgetown : Barbados OR San Jose :Costa Rica

Kauai is warm year round! The North Shore has huge waves at this time of year as well! In the past I've used Kauai Vacation Rentals and Real Estate, Inc. because they have tons of rentals all over the island! They are so helpful too! Good Luck and safe travels!

I think he just wants a warmer temperature for Christmas holiday. Australia is a bit hot at this time of the year too.

Hi friends first of all thanks for sharing such useful information regards Kauai. I want to ask some questions about swimming in Kauai in winter. As I know about kauai that it is unsafe to swim on the north shore in winter. What are the specific months when it is unsafe? Late Nov - late Feb? I'm guessing, please let me know.

Basically I have a good good chance to spend my next winter vacations in Kauai and I want to stay as close to the north shore as possible while still being really close to a swim able beach. I think the north shore is the most beautiful so I want to be close by.
