The Cave House

This cave house been actually carved out of a mountain. This   underground house was first used as a mine for decades, then it was   transformed into a concert venue and finally a home.

Swiss Mountain Underground House

In the Swiss village of Vals, this underground house stands apart from   the rest. It was a collaboration between Netherlands architects at   SeARCH and Christian Muller Architects. The outdoor area lead you into   the house that has been built in the land.

Sedum House

Sedum houseis slated to be the house of the future. It is set in steep   sand hill inland in North Norfloak Coast. The sun is the main point   around which the house was designed. The wooden hood covers the main   living rooms on the first floor. The hood keeps the heat off the glass   windows in summers, but in winters the house is not devoid of any   sunlight. The base of the house is built with flints. The four bedrooms   of the underground house are buried in the tunnel and the natural cover   of the ground provides it insulation.

Cumbria Underground House

Local architect John Bodger designed this house for Phil and Helen   Reddy. It was designed in such a way that a two story underground house   burrowed backwards in the rock. It is built on an old quarry site.

Abandoned Missile Base

Bruce Townsley bought his missile base property from Ed Peden, who is a   missile base real estate mogul. He thought that it might be one project   that would be challenging after completing his several remodeling   projects. The house in this base has been made is such a way that is a   staircase that leads him to the first and then the second level of the   house.

Greek Isles Underground House

Designed by Deca Architecture, this underground house has been   especially envisioned to stand the windy weather of Aegean Sea. It has   been carved in the ground in such a way that only the second story is   visible above the ground and has been built with mostly natural   materials.
