I think March to May is a good time of the year to visit Thailand. Few rain though too hot if you stay at the city area. I recommend you visit some provinces in Thailand during this season.

Thailand has some of the unique and best travel destination in Southeast Asia.  Its white sandy beaches are one of them. In Thailand cool season runs from November to the end of February.  With its low humidity, relatively low temperatures and clear skies, the cool season is the best time to visit. April and May are the hottest months. Avoid the rainy season just in case you don’t like the rain. Normally January, February and March are dry and sunny months, and these months are called a peak tourist season.

cool season is the best time to visit Thailand. Jan - Mar, the most popular and therefore the most expensive months to visit Thailand. January being  the peak-month of the year means hotels often charge more than double the rates they do at other times though better value is possible in february and more so in March.

Choose Sept & Oct  for very nice accommodation at extraordinary prices, but these months are the wettest months with very high humidity

I think it's best to have a trip during summer season because they have beautiful beaches.and also March to May is the best time to visit Thailand...........
