So the search is on to find the world's 7 Wonders of Nature. The shortlist has been whittled down to the final 28. I've placed my vote (a tough choice and have only actually visited 3 of the 28 finalists). My top vote went to the iconic red rock of Uluru.
The top 7 natural treasures will be announced on the 11th November 2011.

SOME FUN TRIVIA ABOUT ULURU
Like a giant iceberg, Uluru has most of its bulk below the surface - around 6km deep!
Uluru was named after former South Australia premier Sir Henry Ayers by European Explorer William Gosse who sighted the rock in 1873.
Uluru is located in the middle of Australia, in fact very close to the actual geographical centre.
