10 days in Mexico

Hi guys,
We are thinking about Mexico in July, I've wanted to go there for so long... But we can squeeze 12 days max, minus flight etc... let's say we'll have 10 days in Mexico. I am trying to understand whether it's worth it, maybe we can focus on Yucatan only, for example. What do you think? In your opinion, what are the absolute musts of Mexico or Yucatan in particular?
