accommodation in Thailand for visitors
« on: June 02, 2011, 04:33:30 AM »
Hello, Recently I visited Thailand and I have found the cheapest and the best way for accommodation over there by staying with Thai people. It is of less price and more over you can get acquainted with Thai culture very soon. I hope other countries do have same with them.

If you are heading to Thailand anytime during the high season it is best to book well in advance. For the well-rated hotels, particularly in the upper price range, its possible for them to be fully booked several months ahead.

If I'm not wrong then,, Central Thailand is costlier than others...
I first stayed at central and then headed towards Southern thailand to enjoy beach life.

Thailand is the most popular tourist destination in Southeast Asia, and for a reason. You can find almost anything here: thick jungle as green as can be, crystal blue waters that feel more like a warm bath than a swim in the ocean and food that can curl your nose hairs while tap dancing across your taste buds. Exotic, yet safe; cheap, yet equipped with every modern amenity you need, there is something for every interest and every price bracket, from beach front backpacker bungalows to some of the best luxury hotels in the world. And despite the heavy flow of tourism, Thailand retains its quintessential Thai-ness, with a culture and history all its own and a carefree people famed for their smiles and their fun-seeking sanuk lifestyle. Many travelers come to Thailand and extend their stay well beyond their original plans and others never find a reason to leave. Whatever your cup of tea is, they know how to make it in Thailand.

There are nearby provinces in Bangkok that offers safe and reasonable priced accommodation services so I guess it's a wise idea to take a look and make an advance reservation to them.

Yeah, although accommodation can be really cheap in Thailand, I like the idea of staying with a local because it would give you a completely different and truley authentic take on the culture!
